I designed the book jacket for From Arthur's Seat 2019, University of Edinburgh's annual creative writing anthology, published in partnership with Egg Box Publishing. My inspiration for the cover was postcards; the anthology is a collection of work from writers from around the world, that came together to study at the University of Edinburgh. The back cover was created to appear as the back of the postcard. The blurb is handwritten by one of the writers, Merel de Beer, and acts as the "note" written from the anthology's contributors to the readers. The stamp, featured on the back cover and the spine, was inspired by From Arthur's Seat logo, which is inspired by St Giles Cathedral. The sunset can be seen through the cupola, and so I drew inspiration from this to recreate an evening scene of the Edinburgh skyline.
This photograph was taken at the book launch.
Above are examples of some of the graphics that I created to promote the book. The image on the left is the logo I created for our podcast. The design is  modeled after the stamp I created for the back cover. The image on the right is an example of an image I created for our social media posts to announce that we had a successful first print run.
Above is an example of the accompanying website, www.fromarthursseat.com, which was created using my designs, color palette, and typographic selections.
I also designed a label for the bespoke gin that was created for the From Arthur's Seat Book launch. It showcases the unique ingredients that were selected to reflect the diverse group of writers which contributed to this publication.
